Recently Awarded: vExpert 2014

I’m ecstatic to say that I was officially named a vExpert by VMware for 2014.

The vExpert program is a recognition to the contributions to those who have demonstrated significant contributions to the community and a willingness to share their expertise with others.

As most, I started my blog influenced by others will to share their knowledge with the VMware community. These blogs and what’s referred to as the #vCommunity¬†provided an environment that I decided to embrace in order to enhance my knowledge and overall career. I followed industry experts on Twitter, read and studied blog posts, and started testing things in the lab and quickly discovered what a great source of knowledge the #vCommunity brought. Knowing how much it helped my career, I wanted to give back in a way as well as give myself an opportunity to document and keep me motivated to learn new things and continue to share with others.

I can’t say how grateful I am to all the long-term bloggers who motivated me, the #vCommunity who continues to impress me everyday, and the folks who read my blog and find my posts useful. ¬†I look forward to continuing to expand our site and getting more involved with both the local and global community members.
